Installed a new cam position sensor and cleared the codes and engine warning light but drove 4 km and engine warning light came back on and problems all started again I will send it to a workshop and have them look at it

Which is where I was heading with my line of enquiry- if you now only have p0344 it hints at an electrical
problem- the connector on the sensor, the wiring in the harness itself, low battery....
Needs to be checked thoroughly by a good mechanic.
It doesn't always have to be the sensor.

Hopefully a good mechanic can sort it for you.

I hear ya!
Took my old mechanic a while to diagnose and fix an issue I had which turned out to be the thermo fan... I've also had a couple of cam sensors and other sensors with my first PT ('04 model)

Colin should be around tomorrow, he's on the Central Coast, so should be able to help with anyone in that area...
Other than that, there are very good mechanics in Blacktown that know PT's - used to work for a Chrysler dealership!! They do a lot of the work for most of the Sydney-based Club members... It's an option at least if having trouble in your local area...

That would be me, I don't know of or have used any workshop mechanics up here on the central coast
Steve, "PT Munji" might know of one, he has been up here much longer than I have
I used to work at Parramatta Chrysler Service centre and would recommend A&J at Blacktown
The mechanics in Blacktown were Chrysler Service Mechanics who now have there own shop
