Hey everyone :)

Got a bit of an issue, I'm after a solution if anyone's able to help...

My convertible seems to have an electrical issue with the roof - more significantly, the set of buttons where the roof controller is, plus the hazards, etc

Initially, the roof opened 3/4, paused, then 'clunked' and fell the rest of the way... closed ok, but didn't seem right either...
Then, the hazards went funny, either not turning on, or blinking in a weird series, where it would skip a flash but intermittently rather than just every 4th flash, was 2nd 6th 10th...

I've had it at Avi's (A&J Blacktown), he's done what he can, plus been in touch with Alan @ Bleam, who's said that simply replacing the switch panel doesn't fix it but he doesn't yet know what does/will...

Avi suggested taking it to Chrysler.... :o

Anyone know about this one? or have any ideas how to fix it?

Many thanks in advance

Auto Electrician not service mechanics.
Make sure your battery is 100%. You only have to be down 1volt on today's car and things shut down.
Only other option is chase Keith to see if he has had any dramas with his and or prepared to look and listen to yours whilst you operate it.

After re reading, bit concerned about this clunk you got. Is that a component jamming somewhere!
Saw your pic on Facebook. Seems strange that the Hazards are playing up at the same time,
Does the Sunroof have a relay in the fuse box area that you can swap with another that is similar?

Yes, anyone know any good Auto-Elec's in the area??
I know I've changed a couple of batteries lately, but not sure if it was this one....haha (have to stop swiping cars lol) I'll have to get it checked...and I'll see if I can pin Keith down - when he's not galavanting around the north coast with his new lady... ;) :o

That's what I wondered - hence taking it to Avi's, but it turned into a more 'electrical' issue once the hazards stopped working too - they (Avi and Allan/Bleam) think it's something electrical in that bar of buttons but Allan hasn't resolved it (he has a similar issue on one of his I think)
The roof has opened once since the first issue, it only clunked on the first time, the second time was ok.
Not sure about relays...
