Twas a great day and good to see a good attendance....yet again. Weather was perfect and the cruise spectacular. Pretty venue as well.
Don't get me started on Chubby's mobile home!

Started watching the slideshow there Ray and some pretty awesome pics of the flowers. Unfortunately I couldn't hang in there to see the rest.

A big thanks to those who threw some donation money to me for Gayle's walk she was doing in the city and to those who sponsored her early.
She walked nearly 30ks on Saturday and over 30ks on Sunday. When I picked her up she looked surprisingly well.....well I mean she wasn't brought out on a wheel chair. Bad blisters on her feet and will probably loose some nails she says but she did well. Quite proud of her efforts.

Great spot Col.

Beautiful gardens, fascinating in the fact that they're so different to "the norm",
all that high altitude and cold climate stuff. Very enjoyable day Thanks.

Good to catch up after not seeing anyone since we last saw Chubby
(love the new 'wheels' btw Grant & Chris).

See ya round!

Great day for a run up the mountains
Been a few years since I've been there as well a few since the club last visited
Definitely worth the trip and yes Steve it is a nice spot, Thanks ;)
Great scenery all round including the drive up
With not many stoppages and everyone keeping together for the majority of the trip
Once there several went off to view the gardens some also got comfortable and relaxed
But hey there'll be none of that theres a better spot around the corner just right for us
So began the hardest part of the day getting everyone to relocate
Once there it proved to be a much better spot
And we took over pretty much the whole area
Commandeering five picnic tables to seat everyone close together
Then it was lunch time and then the raffle
Kim winning first prize organized by Chris and Anna
A few words of thanks to everyone on the day then the unveiling of the new Special edition calendar
Which seemed to go over quite well
Now you can see why the photos were taken at Burrill Lake
We had a great day and enjoyed it as always
Look forward to the next one
