Will post pics soon

Well who would of thought after the weather we have had Sunday would of been a complete 360
We were for warned Saturday afternoon
We went to The Entrance Saturday and met up with several PTCDU NSW freinds
And mentioned we were heading to Shellharbour on Sunday "Atleast its better weather than when we went to Kiama to meet Dexter"
Hmm Jinxed?
While dinnering we were updated with weather reports from Sydney area on rain late in the afternoon
By the time we had reached home it had started to drizzle and was raining heavier by the time we gone to bed
Sunday morning light rain still falling
Checked the forum and nothing on there one txt from ray on weather south of Sydney.
Figured on at least a trip to Chullora incase some brave soles turned up
Fog on the mountains on the way down was thick but rain was still light most of the way
Messages start to come in from several not going as well as phone calls
Plenty of weather updates from down south
Arrived around 8am One Tangerine in the car park already
By 8:30 6 PT's had braved the weather
by 8:45 there were 9, roughly half and too many too ignore
So options discussed including, postpone for a week and go home? Have lunch somewhere in Sydney area(3 hours away??)
Or take what we had and go to Shellharbour anyway?
Majority(100%) said SOUTH!!!
So Shellharbour it is, at least the weather will keep the crowds away
With a smaller group and the great weather speed was the last thing on our mind.
Roads were relatively quiet so we took the leisurely way and safer way
Keeping pretty much together for the entire trip
Only losing sight of everyone over the top of Bulli
Where the fog was at its thickest, visibility was about 30 meters
But some were still flying past doing the normal speed limit and over
One even had no lights on at all???
Sticking to the planned route we arrived around 11 am at the intended destination
Which had ample room and Toilets!!! Check pictures ;)
So a quick stop here for a little sightseeing of the beach and some of Jans bickies
Talk turned to lunch with club or pub seeming the best options
With a look around town first to take up sometime.
So back into it and head into Shellharbour
The main park next to the harbour and end of the main street was relatively empty
so we parked here while we had a look around town.
It was here that it was decided that the pavillion which was empty, thanks rain, would make a good spot for lunch
So Fish N Chips were back on the menu with the best dining room in the area free of patrons we setup here for lunch
near the end of lunch ray popped down to say hello and drop his raffle prize off
The lucky winners? Don & Janiene First prize of a Fruit Hamper and Lindt Choccies
2nd was a Fondue set, Chris J and third a box of Lindt Choccies, Joan.
Also on offer was a special tasting of a special drink. and I encouraged the responsible consumption of alcohol.
Which met with the special expert tasters approval, There will be more chances at weekends away to share in this so don't worry if you missed out ;)
Rain didn't help with attendance which is a shame, as it would of been a great sight to have 20 or so PT's present
Thanks everyone for braving the weather and thick fog
Dennis for you dependable help as always
Feb run is on a Saturday looking forward to it
YEEEE HAR!!!!!!!

Great report and excellent photos courtesy of the first lady , I think .
As someone said , there was not one duplicated color on the cars .
The breakwater shots were excellent , especially Bluey`s solo shot .
Who would have thought that we would have such a great time in the wet !!
Just goes to prove that its all about the people, and that`s why we love our club, and the members, so much .
Life would be a few shades duller without them would`nt it .

Dennis, my (Gayle's) Corolla was blue :( ....lol

It was good to catch up with those who wanted to go ahead with the run once down here....and no doubt those who couldn't attend and understandably so were missed, which is a shame for this usually popular date and venue . It's generally not a good run over the mountains when wet which is why some times I miss a run now and then up your way.
Those who came down was very fortunate that the weather held back slightly during their stay over lunch. It was very wet at my place and foggy. I'm a few k's from the coast being at the foot of the mountains so it didn't excite me to go out! but the coast weather can be different to what we get at times.
Looking forward to catching up with the rest of the gang/family in the coming runs ahead.

- Ray

I forgot to add, Great pictures and thanks to those who offered to share their lunch when I arrived. Much appreciated.
