F/S Teardrop Camper 7 years 10 months ago #76288

]2002 Aussie Teardrop Campers \"Belmontear\" model. Rego till May 2013.

Available now on Ebay:

Professionally built by Aussie Teardrops on the Gold Coast in QLD. This is one of the early Belmontear models with a polished aluminium skin and timber interior.

See here for Aussie Teardrop\'s website:

The teardrop comfortably sleeps 2 adults and has a surprising amount of room. Plenty of storage in the rear. As the photos show, the teardrop can be opened right up to allow

breezes to flow through and the 2 side access doors have sliding aluminium windows with insect screens, so they can be left open when sleeping. A pop-up sunroof/ventilator (also with an insect screen) adds to the airflow.

The back hatch can also be left up and adds another element of ventilation. Very light and airy = no closed in feeling apparent in some teardrop designs.

The interior is timber lined as a caravan would be (Reiner Gudd is an ex-caravan builder), has built in lights, a radio/CD/DVD player and a 10\" drop down monitor. Lay in bed and enjoy a movie!

The teardrop is very light and can be towed behind any car or, as many people do, trike. We used to tow it to shows with our PT Cruiser (no powerhouse) and you barely know it is there. The aerodynamic design

ensures you don\'t increase your fuel consumption much either. The trailer plug is a 7 pin flat plug and external power can be hooked up via an external socket.

The doors, guards and esky mounted on the A Frame were painted to match our PT, a Chrysler colour known as shale green. Would be very easy to repaint to match

your pride and joy. You don\'t need the biggest or fanciest caravan combo to turn heads at a caravan park or camp ground. This thing attracts attention wherever you go..

New Belmontear teardrops can cost $13000 + depending on options (check the website). Ours has travelled, got a few dings and scrapes (love marks) and could do with a repainting of the guards, doors and esky.. but you\'ll love

it as much as we have. She is priced to sell!

The winning bidder will need to pick up this weekend or Monday at the latest from Karana Downs, Brisbane. We are going away Tues and won\'t be back till after Xmas, so no time to deal with transport.

Happy to deliver it for you if you in are Brisbane/close surrounds (no more than 100km).

PayPal, bank transfer or cash on pickup is fine.

Yes, a rush sale, but we thought someone may enjoy the teardrop for their Xmas holiday. Don\'t miss out.. bid now and often. Happy bidding.. Merry Xmas.. Happy travels!
